Through my blog, you can look thru my window into what my eyes, heart and camera lens see on my journey... I can't wait to share it with you !

About Me

My photo
I believe that treasuring the people in our life not only helps the people in our life but helps US. It is so easy to get so caught up in the daily routine of life that we forget the best gifts are the people that live with us. I want to use my camera and vision to show you what you have in the connections to the people you love. It is the greatest treasure we have in this life. When a mom can see how her children listen to her and respond to her she knows her daily energy into her family is building people. When a man can see that the best life has to offer him is in his own house that is a beautiful thing. It is something I can do. I want to be a blessing and that is what heals me ! I love this job ! I truly believe families can be glued together with one really special photograph. It is such a cool thing to walk into a family feel the dynamics that are unique to their special relationships and translate that into a hard copy image. Sometimes we need to have a real image in our hand of what we hope with our heart is true. I want to do that for you ! I am a proud member of the professional photographers association 770.547.1018

STILL waiting :(

As I write this poor Ellie is bouncing on a yoga ball. We went to the doctor today and it was a surprise she made it another weekend. Calling for all stories about how you went into labor !!!!!! Any help is appreciated !!! She has already walked her legs off, bounced on the yoga ball, eaten mexican, and eggplant and getting a massage tomorrow . She is progressing pretty far but can't seem to get that last push.. I remeber so well. The last little bit is hard and to be patient is nearly impossible. Leave me a comment and tell me your story.. PLEASE ! We want to meet Sky :)

I had was induced with my first one 3x and it never took. Even though I was dilated to 4 cm.

The trick was having my water broken, then there was the head and out came baby.

With my second babe I had my water broken and boom, there was baby.

Praying for all of you, waiting is painful!
ps. both my babies were 2 weeks overdue.

Oh Cindy--I know this part is hard! My secret was scheduling C-sections at 38 weeks for my giant babies, but I guess that's sorta out of the question at this point, huh? :) It sounds like she's doing all the right things...maybe that massage will kick start things a little. I know there are all kinds of pressure points in your legs and feet that stimulate uterine contractions...maybe ask the massage therapist if she can hit a few! :) Hang in there...can't wait to finally hear the good news!!!

Hang in there, I too remember it well, the first time I walked and walked till I couldn't walk anymore, the second time I was two weeks late and I thought she would never get here. I think girls just take their own sweet time, Trust me it is worth the wait. God Bless and everything happens on his time schedule...Good Luck.

I was induced at 39 weeks because Katie Anne was getting so big, which was wonderful- I loved being able to plan it all out! So, I don't have any great tricks or tips... but I'm sending lots of positive thoughts Ellie's way! My mom drank a cup of castor oil to go into labor with me, but I'd save that for a last desperate measure if I were Ellie. ;)

Not to many words of wisdom, I had 2 c-sections (big baby boys) just wanted to wish you all well and let you know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Here's wishing for a fast, uneventful, delivery and a speedy recovery.

go to a nail salon and let them rub on your feet....the day my water broke I had a pedicure and then had my hair cut and colored, I got home and layed in the bath for about an hour, checked my bag, ate supper...sat on the couch and it broke!!
