My Pixel chick Laura....

my sweet friend and fellow pixel chick photographer lives in California but was here with Robert and I when he asked me to marry him :) She did a photoshoot with us the day after... :) The weather was HORRIBLE !!! DARK and FREEZING ! It was one of those days I would have probably almost certainly rescheduled if it was a client but she was only here for a teeny amount of time so we just had to make it work ..... I love her so much and it meant so much to have some pictures with my sweet Robert ! I spend so much time behind the camera and I like it that way :) Between you and me.... I get pretty nervous in front of the camera... Maybe that is why I can work with other people who get nervous ! I totally get the nervous thing with that giant lens so close. BUT, this was Laura :) She is fabulous !!! Check out her blog here and see some of her favorite shots. I am not much of a writer ( I know you all already know that ) I always enjoy reading Laura's blog ! She has such a great way of writing her thoughts :) I really admire that ! I write like I talk... sometimes pretty disjointed ! anyway, this shot is probably my favorite ! The last five years have been the most difficult of my life and I never would have believed this happiness could be waiting for me. God is so good ! All of you out there over 40 and thinking it can never happen to you.... I am here to say it can happen to you... IT HAPPENED TO ME ! I love this picture because of how it feels under his chin... I have to say it is my favorite place. I have never experienced such a safe, secure, peaceful happy place ever ! I want to live out the rest of my days with this man in this place :)
