He makes ME smile...

I have been so grateful to so many of you out there who have been a constant source of encouragement to me personally and to my photography journey :) I thought I would share a face with you all that has been bringing me more than my share of smiles... his name is Robert. I spend a ton of time taking pictures for other people and I convinced Robert to let me take some pictures (ok a ton of pictures ) just for me. This has been such a sweet session to edit for me. Editing a session usually takes hours and I spend tons of time looking at the faces of the people I shoot. This has been hours of looking at a face that always makes me laugh and smile for all the right reasons :) If you could hear him sing.... or tell a story... or pray.... or laugh... or watch him with the people he loves you would understand. I am so blessed to have such a good man in my life. I want to share all the good stuff with you all too and I want you all to say awesome prayers of Thank you for me :) THIS is such a sweet chapter of my life !!!!!!!!
























I asked Robert to take me to a hill top.. I just wanted to see some sky. Look at this view !!!! I don't think I could get myself here again without him but isn't this view awesome ?? The clouds and sky and light were just perfect and the subject was pretty great too ! It is great to be me :)







It had gotten dark and Robert had a brilliant idea of using the lights on the jeep for a few more. I didn't even bring my flash with us. All of these were taken with available natural light and the next few were taken with the headlights of the jeep :) I will definitely do the Jeep headlight thing again.








I used my Canon 5D Mark II and my Canon 24-70mm 2.8 lens. My life just keeps getting better :)

I adore your Robert and I am so amazed and in awe of the awesome work that God has done in you through all the bad stuff, all the stuff that brought you here to this place of sweetness and goodness and delight in your life.     I was smiling just reading your title...:) SO looked forward to seeing these! I love putting a face - a true image - to all I've heard. Such warm eyes and a sweet smile.     Even though your blog viewers may not have met Robert ... his personality clearly comes shinning through! Your images capture all he gives of himself, and the importance of Robert in your life. So happy for you both. We need more people like this is the world!! ENJOY each other!
