Many of you already know that the main focus of my photography business is to strengthen family relationships. I have a passion for holding up a mirror inside the houses of my clients. Sometimes we get so busy with our everyday life that we forget the best treasures live right in our home. The beginning of a family is the couple. I am opening a new aspect to my business. It will be called Elegant Expressions. This aspect of my biz will be just that elegant , sophisticated images of wives. This service will be open to brides. I can visualize a beautiful album of tasteful beautiful images given to him on her wedding day. This service will also be open to married girls. This service will be discreet and your pictures will be your pictures and for your eyes only. You will be shooting your session with just me and we will have a great time talking about what means the most to you and you can stop life and breathe for a minute and be thankful for the realtionships in your life while feeling beautiful and creating images that you can be proud of :) We as women spend so much time taking care of babies, kids, careers, houses and it is easy to neglect the part of our life that started this in the first place. What an incredible gift of love to give your husband beautiful, classic images of his wife. I am excited about the relationships that will have new spark and the positive things these images could bring to your home.

So Proud of my PIXEL CHICK FRIENDS!!

I took the following entry from my Good Friend Julie Monacello's blog talking about some thing very exciting for two of my pixel chick friends !!! Alli and Julie's images are being featured on the cover !!!! Both are such amazing talents and I am so blessed to have my amazing photographer girl friends... These women are not only so skilled with their state of the art equipment but they are kind, loving, helpful, loyal good friends... I LOVE my Pixel Chicks and I am sooooo proud to be one of them :) We talk everyday online . We Critique eachothers work... We learn new skills.. We sharpen eachother...and support eachother thru the everyday struggle of life.. We know whose kids had a good day at school and who had an awesome session that week.. We cover a ton of ground and I truly feel God placed them all in my life for a reason. Alli, Julie, Hayley,Laura, Candy,Sherry, Ali,Megan, Denise .... I LOVE YOU !!! I am proud of all of you ! Many of you know that this spring a few of my images were selected for publication in Jim Miotke's new book. We were also told that in publishing, nothing is certain until the book hits the shelves. So, I'd have to wait until September to see what images actually made the cut.

Yesterday, on a whim, I checked amazon. It's still not published, but they're taking pre-orders. When the cover image popped up, I dropped my jaw. There is my image, "Nummy". The cutest baby with his fingers in his mouth, right there! I couldn't even speak. I was shaking with excitement. So much so that I was worried that I'd have shaky hands for my photo session in an hour!

It was double excitement because the photo to the right of mine was created by my good friend Alli Gaulin! I was so excited that I could hardly even find my phone, and dial, to call her. Unfortunately, I got her voicemail, and I couldn't even speak to leave a message.

Of all the tens of thousands of images that the editors and Jim see at betterphoto.com, what are the odds that both of our images make the cover? Amazing.

Twin Senior girls :)

I had such a fabulous time with your family !!! Taylor and Lauren are seniors and some of the nicest girls I have ever met :) Taylor , you and Lauren and Ashton have the sweetest place to grow.. You three girls have parents who love you all so much! It was wonderful for me to see how they love you :) All three of you have so many great things to look forward to and a what a blessing that you will always have parents right there going through every step watching and supporting you. Thank you for inviting me to spend so much time with your family. I hope you enjoy your real sneak peek :)
