Soooo many exciting things coming !

You all have been so awesome to support me in my photography and my personal journey... To be honest I can not seperate them :) I am moving along my life path and having a fabulous time ! My first career has been as a Primary School Music Teacher. My college degree is in Music Education and I have been teaching over 1000 children 5-8yrs old every seven school days :) This is my last year ! I have turned in my resignation and in less than a month I will start my new life as a photographer FULLTIME !!!!!!!! It is because of you all that THIS is possible !!!! I am sooooo excited ! I can't wait to put all my energy into my photography. YEY!!!

I will let you all in on another HUGE LIFE ALTERING EVENT coming for me.....


I am getting MARRIED in June :)

Can I just tell you all how busy I am ?? I am teaching, enjoying shooting tons of sessions, getting my senior boy ready to graduate, and planning a wedding.... getting houses ready for new people :) and packing up stuff from my classroom and house .... It is BUSY, BUSY, busy but all FABULOUS ! So much to look forward to ! So much to be thanfkul for !!!!

When you think to pray... please say a few thank you's on my behalf ! God has been so kind to send just the right clients and atlast the RIGHT man and the BEST CAREER directly to me :) I don't think there are ever enough thank you's for how grateful I feel !!!!

Welcome to the world , Emory ! { Atlanta Newborn Photographer }

There is nothing sweeter than a new baby ! Emory got here early and he weighed 4lbs 6 ounces... He is sooooo teeny. I am a huge fan of brand new babies. I had five babies of my own and soaked up the time that they were newborns all I could ! Ginny and Season were so sweet to allow me to take pictures of Emory's older brother and how wonderful I got to be there with my camera for child number 2 !!! He is a cutie! I can't wait to watch them both grow up :) MY JOB IS SOOOOO AWESOME !!

Tracy and Scott are engaged !!! I am such a fan of getting married :) We met in the city and had a great time !!! I am really looking forward to the wedding. THIS is a great job. I hang out with cool , beautiful people in love and what could be better than that !!!! Thank you Tracy and Scott !!!

Can I just tell you how much I enjoy shooting engagement sessions ?? Well, I LOVE THEM !!! It has been a while since I had a session first thing in the morning... I really like to sleep..... This session was at 8am in the field :) The light was just glorious !!!! I will do the early morning thing again :) Shannon and Tim were so sweet and easy to work with :) BIG AWESOME LOVE makes every session easy... Maybe that is why engagement sessions are so much fun ! Love is so obvious and it is sooooo easy to photograph ... I have been soooo overwhelmed with feeling of excitement that I am just a few weeks away from going down the path of Photography FULLTIME !!!! WOO HOO !!! This job is sooooo what I am suppose to be doing ! i feel alive and happy and like I am doing something really good when I point my camera at you and take pictures of your lOVE story :) Thank you Shannon and Tim for choosing me !!!!! I can not wait for the wedding.
