Wanna see what I saw ????

I have been home today and having so much fun going thru my images from Italy :) I decided to post some MORE pic's... We went to four different cities in Italy and each had such a different vibe. I already posted some from Rome which was AWESOME ! The next few are from a town called Assisi. This city was calm and quiet and soooo peaceful. The churches there were not just museums to hold paintings but used by everyone to hold service, sing and pray... We walked into one church there and heard nuns singing and it was the most beautiful sound to hear while looking at paintings we had only seen in books... The streets look exactly how I imagined .. The place puts you in such a peaceful place in yourself it is really hard to explain... You should go !

On to Florence.... Holder of some the most significant Art in the world. We did spend a ton of time in museums looking at beautiful Art work. It was my least favorite stop... The Art was awesome but I am not as big a fan of the vibe this city gives off....

Venice.... I went to this city back in 1982 as a 17 yr old and wondered if it would feel as magical as it did then..... YES... It did ! I think this was my favorite spot on our trip other than photographing the wedding. Venice is whimsical and colorful and romantic and magical ! I Loved it and want to go back with Robert !!!!
We went on a gondola ride right as the sun had just gone down :) It was quiet and you could only hear the sound of the water and the moon was full ..... PERFECTION is what it was... I LOVED IT!!
