Day 3 the wedding day..... { Destination Wedding Photographer }

I am living the charmed life..... I came to Italy and got to work with Flavio Carnevale. I have been looking forward to an Italian Wedding and working with someone whose work I admire :) He is a true artist and we had the opportunity to talk about camera equipment, philosophy of why we take the pictures we take and what modivates our style. He is humble enough to allow me in his working space and was gracious to collaborate. This was a dream come true for me :) Flavio had an assisitant and a videographer who stayed with us all day and no one spoke english the whole day except Flavio. I am completely grateful for his willingness to translate ALL day ! He was awesome ! I felt rude not knowing any Italian but learned very quickly that language is just one of many ways to communicate. A smile can say so much and a camera...well... I had a ton of conversation without any words taking pictures and showing them what I had just taken. This bride was so gracious ! She made a point to learn my name and thanked me many times for being there. It was just the coolest experience for me !!! I have only begun to go through the images. I thought I would share a few now I will edit more later :)

Flavio is such a humble artist. He has a great way of making the brides he works with very comfortable. I enjoyed working with him and watching his skills....

This is everyone who attended the wedding.... I love this idea ! Look at this church ! It is magnificent :)

Thank you Flavio !

  4. I found you by simply browsing through photography blogs. You are truly blessed with an amazing talent and magnificent experiences. You have an eye for seeing people and capturing who they are as well as composition. We all aspire to be the best we can at our passion, regardless of what extent of training we have, or how little equipment we own. It's well-seasoned photographers like you (and Flavio) that help newbies like myself, pick ourselves back up when discouraged and keep trying. I'm glad I stumbled accross your blog. I just wanted you to know that. Thank you.
