The Bride

I just got in from one of the best days work :) I spent the day at a sweet wedding. I will edit more and give a real preview of the day in a few days but while I was downloading the images I came accross this one and just LOOK at the bride I shot today :) Isn't Amanda beautiful ??? Wow, we had the worst rainy, cold weather and it forced us to take most of our pictures inside but it was an opportunity to think outside of what I had planned for the day and that is always good. I loved to stretch my creative wings and today was a good day :)

Sweet Family :)

You all may recognize Leigh Ann and Chip and their beautiful boys !! My college degree is in Music Education and Leigh Ann and I experienced it together :) Shorter College was a sweet time and I met so many dear people. I was already a momma of five children when I was a student there and the fact that the traditionally aged music students embraced me... the mom... still touches me :) I worked so hard and they were sooo kind !!! It is so nice to see so many of those sweet people having families of their own and now I get to take pictures of them :) How cool is my life right now ! I hope everyone had a great holiday today ! These little boys totally cheer me up , how sweet are they ??

Melissa and Michael got married !

Melissa and Michael got married this past sat :) What a sweet wedding ! One of the awesome things about shooting a wedding is that I always take my daughter Maggie as my second shooter :) So I get to be a part of a very special day and spend time with my precious kid !! Maggie is about to graduate from UGA with a degree in Painting. She is a fantastic artist as a painter and a singer/ songwriter. She and I have been studying different aspects of the visual arts since she was tiny and to share a work experience is just too cool !! We communicate without ever saying a word and I threw in some behind the scenes images on the blog that she took of me taking pictures :) These are a just a teeny few of what we got on saturday !! The light was beautiful and the people even better !!! Thank you Melissa for making Maggie and I a part of your's and Michael's Day !! We had a great time !!!
