Another Kodak Picture of the Day !!! March 13th

I just got an email from the editor who chooses the Kodak Picture of the Day. She told me that I have ANOTHER one coming up on March 13th... I called this picture 1,2,3 in a row. I LOVED this shoot! How often does someone get to photograph newborn triplets.... They were so tiny and precious and they will be huge up on a BILLBOARD in Times Square 3 stories tall on March 13th and they will be displayed on the Kodak website for 24 hours at www.kodak.com This is on a thursday so I don't know if I can go to New York City to see it... I wish I could ! It is the fourth Kodak picture of the Day I have recieved in 6 months :) This job is soooo much fun!!!

We had such a great time together....and look at this beautiful baby! His eyes are so amazing! This little guy is so laid back and calm... I don't know when I have had an easier time getting great baby images. Thank you so much for our time together ! I hope you enjoy your pictures.

Stepp Family Shoot

Here are a few pictures from our session yesterday... You have suc a sweet family and Erin I love the way you look into my camera. I knew when I saw the little purple weeds...they would make the grey in your sweater and your beautiful blue eyes pop. Thank you for being so willing to just lay down into the weeds :) During a shoot I use what inspires me in the moment and you all were just willing to go where my creative mind was leading in the moment.. That makes a shoot sooooo much fun. Thank you for asking me to do this shoot! I can't wait til the next time !!

Better Photofinalists.... YEY!!!!!

I am so excited for the month of January 34,900 photos were entered into the monthly contest at www.BetterPhoto.com and only 72 were chosen to be Finalist in the category of people and this image of my Caleb was chosen!!!! This is such a huge honor. This picture was taken on a sunday afternoon. I was busy about what I do on sunday and I was missing my college kids something awful when Caleb called me..... he said he and Maggie were coming home to me long enough to have lunch and then go back to UGA. It was the best suprise ever. I grabbed my camera before we went to lunch and took a couple of shots of he and Maggie to help make the moment last a teeny bit longer... I am just so thrilled about this. Thank you Caleb !!!! Isn't he beautiful ??? Soak up your kids every minute you can.. they grow up and leave soooo soooon. I miss my grown kids everyday. It is one of the reasons I really love to take pictures of other families children. What a blessing to be able to get some pictures of you playing with your kids. Trust me... you will be looking at them when they are off building their own lives and grown. We raise them to leave us and it is so exciting to see where their lives go but it is so hard to let go...

Beautiful Red Hair

I got to shoot some senior pictures for my neice today. She is just as beautiful inside as she is outside. She is my sisters baby girl and that hair is just to die for! The weather was kind of grey today and it really helped the color of her hair to just pop. My sister had an idea of an image she was hoping for and we needed a tire swing. I called some friends who had one and they were gracious enough to let us borrow their back yard. I am so happy with the results. Lizzy YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for letting Aunt Cindy take a few pictures of you today.

Sarah and Matt engagement shoot

Sarah and Matt are a perfect match! We had so much fun on our shoot. Matt is a fireman and we used the firestation for part of our shoot.. It was such an awesome spot with great red color and props. I am so excited to see such nice people find eachother. Thank you for asking me to shoot your wedding... I can't wait!!!!!!

It's my new blog !!

Welcome , welcome, welcome... I decided to take the plunge and create a blog to talk about my photography journey. This has been the most incredible experience. I have been in business about a year and a half and having more fun than anyone should. I take pictures of parents with kids, couples, kids, seniors, maternity, newborn, babies... I LOVE IT!! This where I will have the opportunity to thank you and talk about what I learned from you during our shoot. Thank you for sharing in this journey with me :)
